21.2. tourtagebuch 4: prague magic
wie soll man die magie einer stadt wie prag beschreiben? ich glaube, sie speist sich vor allem daraus, daß prag einfach nicht kaputt gebombt wurde. egal wo man den blick hindreht ist verwinkelte, ungerade, geradezu expressionistische schönheit.
als wir im hotel ankommen, ist es halb vier nachmittags. eine stunde freizeit. prag scheint im 18/19 jahrhundert in die umliegenden berge reingewachsen. wie deutsche städte, kassel, wuppertal oder so. aber kassel ist und bleibt kaputt. hier sieht es aus wie am chamissoplatz in berlin, nur noch viel steiler, viel mehr ebenen. und alles ist alt und dekadent heruntergekommen. die häuser durchaus ein gieriges stockwerk höher als nötig. hundekot alarm inklusive. aber steil oben am berg, in vielleicht 200m höhe ragt eine tschechische fahne auf einem bergplateau. daneben eine riesige reiterstatue. um 17.20 ist treffpunkt im hotel. eine stunde freizeit.
mit etwas glück finde ich innerhalb von 20 min. meinen weg dort hoch. auf dem plateau steht eine art mausoleum, fascho architektur, eher mussolini als alles andere, darauf steht "Narodni Muzeum", dann weiter vorne zur stadt hin erhebt sich der berg wie erhofft über die stadt und gibt den blick frei auf die untergehende sonne. hinter mir lasse ich den riesigen reiter stehen, bestimmt 20 m hoch, und sehe mir kurz die stadt an. dann drehe ich und stelle bei näherer ansicht fest, daß der kollege über dem rechten auge eine binde trägt! recht martialisch schwingt er eine keule und scheint damit das unter ihm liegende moldau-delta zu befehligen.
da ich es ob der kälte vorgezogen hatte, auf dem weg bergauf dann doch meine augenklappe aufzuziehen (das glasauge wird im wind eiskalt, kühlschrank im kopf!), kann ich nicht abstreiten, zum kollegen eine gewisse, spontane verwandschaft verspürt zu haben.
später dann, im sehr kultigen kellergewölbe klub Rubin, frage ich zur allgemeinen auflockerung nach dem ersten song die tschechen, wer dieser reiter mit der augenklappe sei und erzähle meine kleine episode. zum beweis zeige ich das foto, das ich von ihm und mir machen konnte. es wird ein wunderbar intimer konzertabend. ich muß sagen, daß es mir total entgegen kommt, die setliste spontan assoziativ während der show zu machen. sich selbst überraschen, die automatismen zu überrumpeln. wo ich doch so ein automat bin.
botanica spielen ihre beste show so far an diesem abend. lange nach konzertschluß und abbau wird im gastraum noch das klavier aufgeklappt und es geht bis in die morgenstunden weiter mit gesang, kontrabass und besen. sänger paul wallfisch in seinem slavo-musikantischen element. da kann ich was mit anfangen.
ach ja, der kollege auf dem pferd heisst jan zizka, ein nationalheld, bzw. haben ihn die kommunisten dazu stilisiert.
hierzu untenstehend ein myspace-post eines sehr netten konzertbesuchers gestern. nett, weil er auch ne CD gekauft hat;-)
